In May, the sun appears on the horizon
in the four o’clock hour, its light gaining strength
with each new dawn.
Waves washing the shore sparkle in the sun’s brilliance,
and dappled light patterns, filtered by fresh verdure,
fall on forest floors and fields.
Under the May sun, the air warms, and the vigor
of breeze animates the landscape with motion and rhythm.
This month’s theme is “May Days of Sun.”
I pray that spring’s gentle flowing energy brings
