Tides

The tides rise and fall under the pull of moon and sun.

Rising, they carry the ocean’s life to land, and falling,

sweep the land’s life into the ocean.

Ocean and land commingling, the tides become a cradle of life.

When we meditate on earth’s rhythms, unchanging since time began,

the outer and inner universe connect as one.
